The Linde Institute will gain another valuable faculty member this June with the arrival of economist Michael Ewens, whose research focuses on financial intermediation, innovation, and management of high-growth entrepreneurial firms.
Ewens has been an assistant professor of finance and entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business since 2010, the year he received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, San Diego. Since 2006, he has also worked as a quantitative advisor for the San Diego-based venture capital firm Correlation Ventures.
