The Linde Institute's mission is necessarily and intrinsically interdisciplinary. Faculty members associated with The Linde Institute have backgrounds in mathematics, economics, finance, psychology, law, and neuroscience. While most are a part of the Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences, many hail from departments in other divisions, such as Computation and Neural Systems. By combining theoretical and experimental approaches, our scholars have pioneered new fields and are at the leading edge of research.
The Linde Institute also hosts regular visitors from around the world. Scholars come to collaborate on research projects and to lend their expertise to mentor and teach students.
