Please join us on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00 am Pacific for the fourth installment of Office Hours, a webinar series presented by the Caltech 2024 Election Integrity Project and moderated by R. Michael Alvarez, PhD, Flintridge Foundation Professor of Political and Computational Social Science at Caltech and Co-Director, Linde Center for Science, Society, and Policy (LCSSP).

In this episode of Office Hours, we'll talk about the upcoming election in Orange County, how they process vote-by-mail ballots, their vote centers, and how Bob is working to deal with election misinformation and disinformation.

Bob Page is Registrar of Voters for Orange County, California, the fifth largest voting jurisdiction in the United States, serving more than 1.8 million registered voters.

The Registrar of Voters administers elections, provides access to voter registration, maintains voter registration records, and examines petition signatures. This important work is accomplished in an accessible, fair, accurate, secure, and transparent manner, ensuring eligible citizens of Orange County can have their voices heard as voters and candidates for office.

Mr. Page was appointed Registrar of Voters on March 11, 2022, by former County Executive Officer Frank Kim. He is also Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors for the California Association of Clerks and Election Officials.

Prior to joining Orange County, Mr. Page worked for San Bernardino County for more than 20 years in roles for the Board of Supervisors, for the CEO, for Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, and as the Registrar of Voters from 2018 to 2022. He also previously worked as a newspaper reporter and university and non-profit fund raiser.

Mr. Page grew up in Orange County. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
